Today, my Psych class was discussing the intentions behind good and evil. I was completely silent, until the professor called on me for my opinion. I said, “We’ve got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.” I now have an A+ for quoting Sirius Black. MLIA

Today, I was listening to my iPod and the song “Trust Me” by The Fray came on. It was on shuffle, and the next song was “Don’t Trust Me” by 3OH!3. Now I’m not sure what to do. MLIA.
God's Grandeur
The world is charged with the grandeur of God. It will flame out, like shining from shook foil; It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod? Generations have trod, have trod, have trod; And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil; And wears man’s smudge and shares man’s smell: the soil Is bare now, nor can foot feel,...

Today, I was too lazy to do a simple math probelm in my head so I typed 58 minus 29 into my calculator. I pressed the equal sign and nothing happened, so I thought my calculator might have been messed up. To test it, I entered many different probelms and they all worked out just fine. After trying to figure out what was wrong for about 10 minutes, I realized that 58 minus 29 is 29....

Today, during a particularly boring class, I was spacing out and looking around the room. I noticed a quiet girl eating Finding Nemo themed fruit snacks. She accidently dropped one in her bag, then, with a horrified look on her face, began frantically digging through her stuff. She muttered, “Not again, Nemo!” MLIA.
“I believe like a child that suffering will be healed and made up for, that all the humiliating absurdity of human contradictions will vanish like a pitiful mirage, like the despicable fabrication of the impotent and infinitely small Euclidean mind of man, that in the world’s finale, at the moment of eternal harmony, something so precious will come to pass that it will suffice for all...

Today, in history class, we were studying the ancient city states of Ancient Greece. Our teacher (the classic old history teacher) had a rolling chalkboard with a map of greece, and we tried to label them of a reading in our textbook. Our teacher pointed at one unmarked city and asked, “What city is this?” No one answered. After the awkward silence, our teacher yelled “THIS IS...

A little while ago, my friend translated “liar, liar, pants on fire” into French and then back into English. The result was “Teller of untruths, your trousers have combusted.” Today, while standing in line at the check out, a woman tried to convince the cashier that she didn’t owe $5.67 but only $4.89. I calculated quickly in my head and immediately blurted out “Teller of untruths,...
